Strange encounter...I seek the press at their office location but find myself surrounded by cops not doing much but insisting I need lord knows what. I exercise my right to remain silent... they pretend me and my bicycle need a ride somewhere...

The following day... basically banned.I find out the press is totally uninterested in why the cops were at their doorstep surrounding informants. But as I have "no story that's news that we're interested in telling" I am told for the first time they would "appreciate it" if I "stop coming by".

I was a little fuzzy on why they try to avoid folk in the street lint or no lint... especially as I've seen enough gruesome headlines I thought if anybody talks to anybody it's a reporter...
but if you are selling a conflict so that you have to censor the common ground between your 'sides'... guess that they just really didn't want that story to visit them at all... I didn't just not follow up so finally... they found a really weird way to tell me I didn't have news that they are willing to print and therefore am banned as a book.

People say that the local news will always print your obit. True... but I'm not laying down to die for a headline. I am holding out for a life instead that is a future of valuing one another... Thus I resisted being a statistic of whatever you think took the public.
The reasons media claimed to self-censor the 'official' emergency long... was for who? I'm an asthmatic.

And like you, I've heard a great deal from the approved news about what I wasn't supposed to know because it wasn't true. From what I've seen the doubtful fad of 'fact checking' is not stopping kind of like the fad of terror-scare.
Today is the middle of June. This was from early February. I've been living openly and quietly blocks away from them for months. I'd specifically told them no police/wellness checks would scare people.
& I had to wait this weird shit out.
I've done my utmost to live as independently as I can to avoid whatever the heck that was... it is never hard for someone
with visible dents in skull from head trauma to get hospitalized achieving the opposite in a culture that frequently segregates disabled people took tenacity, advocacy, luck, and a supportive community.
If you are wondering whether it is justifiable to censor the unvaxed or critics of medical apartheid... then... take a good hard look at the compliant American press...
They held the letter from Attorney J.D.P. in their hands knew that the state used the threat of institutionalization to deny my serving time as a form of protesting I.C.E. detaining little kids.
It's not even the victims of state medicalized coercion they are supposedly protecting from fears of force. And it certainly is not on behalf of the international community... A.K.A. the world's largest demographic that's undervaxed...

C....but the police had weirdly came to encumber me with unspecified help the day before I decide that for once I'm checking in the press office no matter how many times I have to try. I already had tried voicemail and email so I needed to learn if the press was ignoring the police doing that or the state was interfering with the remote message.

After they spoke with Jon I was relieved to see the slip of paper with the unspecified 'help' was quietly withdrawn and I was told maybe... but I was told I needed to stay in town for them to want the story because I was homeless. I was establishing that I was remaining in town by trying to check in every few days... but I rarely found that they'd actually answer the door and they never returned calls not even to say they weren't covering me... these three videos directly above are from the day after the police additionally began hounding at the door... though I have blurred the reporter who doesn't explain the police visit before explaining that the media doesn't want my story... you do not need the letterhead on the door that is blurred along with her head... though I filmed it... to tell where I am... because the stained sidewalk I film is identical to that filmed earlier in the day. I had to establish the censorship... turned the camera on after I was told I would receive no formal acknowledgement that my story had been turned down... never tried to bother a soul. I do however believe that the public needs to know this happened in February... the mainstream media pontificates upon what media can be trusted to be transparent. The public readership is owed more transparency by the same... particularly when police engage people unwilling to talk directly at their office door for reasons of which the office claims to be "unaware".
I do not know if the Farmer is collaborating with cops to shoo away the homeless with censored stories or not. [Update 7-14-23 Yes they were using police. Scroll up and down the page to see.] I've heard a rumor in the street that the police were asking others about me after this incident still and claiming that the press called them and seeming confused about why the press did... but I have no idea if this story related to me about police continuing to ask about me and blaming press is true or a mere rumor inspired by such past events as I've documented already. An additional problem is the credibility of police who later stopped me on suspicion of breaking into some door somewhere using salad thongs... for which I was quickly cleared by surveillance footage... while I was stopped they also verbalized the suspicion that I was carrying a bomb but informed me on video that I would not be searched. Currently they are seeking a change in law that would deny anyone the chance to film police unless 25 feet away which will merely increase distrust of local police.
Stopping people for unclear or frivolous reasons who have been living independently for quite some time is also not helping police to earn community trust however, whether or not it is filmed.
I do not believe that all that happened to me is all about Covid-19... simply because their was some legal problems for some parish sheriff officer beginning a chokehold on video on someone else's (not my) neck back in 2020. The ACLU helped them get legal aid so I'd been posting flyers about the ACLU pack the courthouse event concerning this case earlier upon the same day they later stopped me to pretend I'm a salad thong wielding suspected terrorist. And I'd been hoping that I'd just boringly film me posting some ACLU flyers.
I may be too close to my own incident to sit and judge it without recusing myself were I a judge... but the following is my perspective... I think it is reasonable suspicion to suspect that for police their own weird behavior is more about them trying to suppress information of their own than about covid-19 and that is why these are seeking that 25 feet buffer law... because it would be hard for the child to have shown the cop's hands around the neck of his adult caregiver back in 2020 from that distance as has been noted in the recent story by the Lousiana Illuminator

I can tell you I am making no efforts to be disturbed by anyone... I think under the circumstance I have approached ongoing pandemic life in good humor... but I am also real. I have noticed an increase in stops when I am in Black neighborhoods. Something is really going on here and I don't know what it is all about as not everything happens to or is about me. I really think that if you are a local you might consider protecting your civil liberties by opposing that buffer law. That new law won't stop 'disinformation' about police... rumors would flourish if you must not only not interfere with alleged police brutality or misconduct while filming that terror but keep your camera back 25 feet from cops because the police are distrusted enough and the government even no longer trusts the government. Such a law would understandably make the stability of the community far worse than before. Sometimes you don't know you got a good thing going until you get rid of it. Life isn't perfect... can't understand why cops are advocating for perfectly comfortable jobs. Particularly now.

In this charged climate of political chaos and friction I really hope the governor doesn't approve that buffer law... because it won't matter what is going on or not if the public is not even allowed to independently use the camera as a witness in this age of deep fakes. Oh I wish I was joking about the impending chaos of the deep fakes or at least that I could laugh it off entirely... mentally disabled and frequently gaslighted people are the ones who most benefited from the impartiality of that old school video. So our futures will be rough. But as official gaslighting increases so it seems does empathy for its more classic targets... These officials of truth drew the immoral line in the sand around their own body choice over the choices of different bodies... and then mocked the dead who thought differently, and finally disregarded any too offended by this as 'dying for vaccine freedom/compliance' without a moment of self-reflection. And the half-truths each position of the conflict-narrative nurtured are unraveling alarmingly by the objective independence of the truth itself, still they cling to the conflict as the influential destroy one another. As a mentally disabled activist already having known healthcare utilized to censor my human rights efforts against I.C.E. I could not have safely proved innocent so many abused people and gotten to the bottom of a mystery without befriending the folks in and around the Saint Tammany Trailhead living months upon the street the press office was on. I cannot raise my voice here and I am sorry to have had to leave so abruptly but it is vital... I will remember the people of Covington fondly for the rest of my life but I cannot be heard from this town due to the media monopoly. As for the media in general I haven't heard from anyone... time will tell if and whenever a consciousness of the actual harm done the vulnerable will convince these to be fixing their mistakes. I can't wait upon them any longer. To those in and around the trailhead and trace... housed and unhoused... thanks for being my neighbors.
