FYI: Dealing with a random website bug that is switching where I place photos... this is mixing up the images between new and old pages like they were a deck of cards... frustrating but I have to figure out how to fix this without the bug shuffling the images up meanwhile...
Getting through in Mississippi

More has been going on in Biloxi than I have had time to rest from or post about. I had a blissful seven days as just another homeless person here, and I dropped some tech in saltwater at the beach which made me unable to update the website. The sun didn’t set on the seventh day before I had to come between a man and the woman he was threatening verbally in a park and lend my phone so she could call the police. Police responded in a way that lacked sense… additionally… the man had made some disturbing claims about what police would allow him do to other people.
This created complex problems and alarmed I have filed a discrimination complaint against the Biloxi police, starting with Biloxi NAACP. I have given the video of the police response additionally to Melisa Galatas of the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence, which helps battered women, as Ms. Galatas says she helps train police, and as being homeless I am not always easy to contact and I wished to make that film readily available to the woman the man in the park had been pursuing relentlessly. I have been stretched thin and am tired and I am just trying to put a stub up for now as it’s been awhile. This page to be filled. Peace to you. |
